Cutfall is worked on a few hours a week around study, so a reply usually takes a couple of days and occasionally a bit longer. Every message is read.

If a tool gave you a wrong answer

This is the most valuable message you can send, and the one I'd most like to receive. Please include:

• The link from your address bar. It contains the exact room, tile, joint and pattern you used, so I can reproduce your layout precisely.
• What the tool said, and what you believe it should have said.
• How you know — a measurement from site, a supplier's figure, a hand calculation.

If something is genuinely wrong, it gets fixed and the fix ships. A wrong answer in this field is worse than no answer, because you can't unmake a cut.

If you want a tool that doesn't exist yet

Tell me the job and the decision you're stuck on, rather than the calculator you imagine. Cutfall only builds tools that have to solve something — a layout, a packing problem, a set-out — so the useful part of your message is the awkward bit of the job, not the arithmetic.
